“Time to acknowledge the DIS staff”

“I just wanted to take the time to acknowledge the staff at the Houma Boulevard location in Metairie. This was my first time visiting this location. My morning didn’t start off well but upon arriving, I could feel a warm welcoming environment. The staff even accommodated my schedule which I truly appreciate because I had other appointments that day.

One of the biggest things that stood out to me was how the technologist took the time to check in with me during my study and keep me informed of what was going on — and also the smiles on their faces.

I never experienced that before. My job involves me working with the public and treating people right is a huge thing for me and I truly appreciate the treatment I received from the staff on February 13, so I wanted to send a big thank you for providing excellent service to me.

Always keep in mind you never know what someone may be facing, so just a simple act of kindness can make a difference in someone life.”
