As the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina approaches, we thought we would share how far Diagnostic Imaging Services has come since late August 2005.
Our clinics and administration areas suffered heavy damage due to the storm and its ensuing flooding and post-storm chaos. However, again, like many, we pulled together, persevered and did what we had to do collectively to re-open and to provide services to the residents and communities in southeast Louisiana.
Above are some of the photographs taken of the damage found in our administration office in Metairie.
Today, our decor looks like this.
We will never forget. But, we will never forget not only the events surrounding Katrina, but our collective efforts to restore and return DIS to full functionality.
It’s a tribute to the men and women of Diagnostic Imaging Services from yesterday and today. To all, we say thank you.
