John P. Stagg, CEO
Chief Executive OfficerJohn P. Stagg’s experience in the field of healthcare spans over three decades. Within that experience is an extensive background in imaging centers, hospital administration, home health/hospice, physical therapy, and rehab, assisted living, adult residential care, skilled nursing, nursing home, pharmacy, as well as with medical management and billing companies.
John served in the capacities of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer with several hospital systems ranging from 80 bed facilities to over 300 bed medical centers with revenues ranging from $30 to $125 million annually. He has led hospitals to be among the Top 100 in America, placed in the top 4% twice in hospital employee satisfaction, and on numerous occasions in national surveys, scored in the top 3% in patient satisfaction.
This strong personal background in healthcare financial and organizational leadership led him to be co-founder of a series of healthcare related companies beginning in 2004 including Champion Management, LLC of Baton Rouge of which he is CEO/President and sole owner. Under that umbrella parent company, John owns multiple home health and hospice agencies, multiple nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities, and a property management company, through JACOJ Properties and Investments. Champion manages over $150 million in annual revenues collectively between all companies.
He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Capitol Imaging Services, LLC which owns over 40 imaging centers throughout the Southeast United States including facilities in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama.
John has a master’s in health services administration and a BS in Accounting. He is a past Diplomat of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a past Advanced Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA, CHFP).
Active in his community and church, John resides in Zachary, Louisiana with his family. He is married to Amie LeTard Stagg and he has three children, Collin married to Lindsay Black, Odom married to Madison Neal, and Jamie, and two grandchildren, Lillian Claire Stagg, and John Michael Stagg. He is an avid sports enthusiast, LSU supporter, and an outdoorsman.
John is a past member of the Executive Committee of the Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) for LSU and served over 10 years on the Finance Committee and is past chairman of the audit committee. John was also Vice President and co-founder of Legendz Sports Academy, a Zachary, Louisiana non-profit organization that mentors young men and women through sports. John is also past president of the Zachary Athletic Foundation (ZAF), which combined Bronco Backers and Century Club under his leadership. Also, John is a past finance chairman and board member of Americana YMCA and was named the Baton Rouge Metro YMCA 2016 Volunteer of the Year. He is a member of Galilee Baptist Church in Zachary where he currently serves on the Long-Range Steering Committee as well as chairman of the Men’s Ministry Committee.
